This is my second post that speaks about all the fun filled time I'd with my friends on Jan 1st 2012!
Since the day I joined my new college for my MCA degree at Sambhram Institute of Technology, I'd a wish of hanging out with my new frens at least for a day! So we sat down & were trying to cut down the list to few places that'd stay in our memories for the rest of our lives! Finally we decided to head towards - "SHIMSHA, TALAKADU & SOMANATHPURA!"
The date was fixed to on Jan 1st 2012, to enhance our happiness & joy to the max on the New Year. The date, time & common meeting place was fixed, which Me & 9 more of my best buddies agreed to! On 1st Jan 0f 2012 exactly at 07:05 our ride came & we all gathered at BEL circle, Bangalore. N then our journey started slowly, picking up pace along with the heating sun, man it was
HOT!
As it is the natural instinct of humans, we never keep quite when frens are around! So we sang, chat, teased each other n had hell lots of fun. As time passed, our tummy's started warning us about their existence, so we had a quick stop at 09:00 for a quick break at BIDADI [About 42 Kms from Bangalore City] and had what's famous there, TATTE IDLY!

After some relaxation & refreshment our journey continued! I must say this, in-spite of the THANE Cyclone effect going on very badly till previous day, we never expected the day to be sooooooooooo sunny, but may be we were lucky that there was no sign of a single cloud! ;)
Then around 11:20 we reached our first destination, known by different name "SHIMSHA, BLUFF, GAGANACHUKKI, BARACHUKKI" [About 140 km from Bangalore City]

It is a place where You'll get to see many water falls that are knit beautifully by nature, streaming themselves through the tight clutches of boulders & rocks they form a magnificent place for Nature lovers! So had some quality time there, captured lots of moments in the eyes of a couple of cams. We had feeling that day would never end, but as a matter of fact it does end, so with sour heart, we departed the place & headed towards a much more beautiful place, "TALAKADU!"

About 175 km from Bangalore City You'll find this wonderful place, river CAUVERY flows all around this place, clear, calm & cool, You'll have a thought of staying there for ages. But because of lots of people pouring in the water will really get dirty n weeds all over the river will make it tough to play in the water.
But who cares, we had a great time playing in the water & we had a water ride in a round bowl kind of a boat locally called "THEPPA". By the time we got out of water the clock started ticking 15:00 & forced us to hog some food. Then we stared towards the last destination of the day, "SOMANATHPURA"

It was 16:30 when we reached the place & the temple's door will be shut at 17:30, so we had very little time & we wasted no time. There are no words in the vocabulary to describe how beautiful the temple has been built, every single sculpture, every single stone that form the temple has been so carefully chiseled for year to perfect the art that enhances & portraits our culture at its best! It was like we were being in Heaven where every sculpture literally spoke!

It was around 17:30 we started towards our homes, as it was New Year & Sunday & as it was late eve, the traffic was terrifying & everyone reached their homes around 22:30 with a Happy Heart, with a great kick start of the new year & with a promise of hanging out again very soon!
